About the funder

The Stiftung Stadtkirchengemeinde Hameln was founded in 2004 by the Evangelical Lutheran Münster Congregation of St. Bonifatius. From an initial capital of 200,000 EUR, which was built up through proceeds from congregational activities as an endowment, the foundation capital has grown to approximately 315,000 EUR today. The foundation is financed by the income from this capital as well as donations and additional endowments and uses the funds to support projects of the Stadtkirchengemeinde Hameln, particularly in the areas of children and youth work, diaconal mission, church music, and the maintenance of the Münster St. Bonifatius.
