About the funder
The Stiftung Tausendgut was founded in 2014 on the initiative of WFB Workshops for Disabled People Mainz gGmbH (now in.betrieb Gesellschaft für Teilhabe und Integration gGmbH). Its foundation purpose, "Helping each other. Together," is aimed at people with disabilities of all ages and personal circumstances in Mainz and Rheinhessen. The foundation supports projects as well as individuals and families with advice, assistance, and financial resources, focusing particularly on access to the primary labor market, access to education, and the improvement of quality of life. Together with volunteers, donors, and partners, it promotes equal, barrier-free participation for all people.

Mission & Vision
"Helping one another. Together." is the guiding principle of the Stiftung Tausendgut. Its goal is to open pathways into our society for people with disabilities and – side by side with volunteers and supporters – to enable a diversity of opportunities. Through professional project work, continuous concept development, and close needs orientation, it contributes to an inclusive, barrier-free society.
Target groups
The funding programs of the Stiftung Tausendgut are aimed at people with physical or mental disabilities, regardless of age and personal circumstances, in the Mainz and Rheinhessen region. Non-profit associations, companies, church institutions, and private individuals with projects that enable participation in work, education, and community are supported. The foundation supports measures for vocational qualification, educational offerings, and the improvement of quality of life.
