Mission & Vision
The THW Foundation sees itself as a dynamic, innovative, and unbureaucratic "fast boat" of the large THW family. Its mission is to be the spearhead of advocacy for the THW: it aims to strengthen the operational capability, recruitment, and visibility of the THW by supporting projects that go beyond the basic state equipment.
Target groups
Funding is provided primarily to THW local chapters and the THW Youth Association, the THW volunteers, as well as organizations and institutions in the field of civil and disaster protection. Additionally, the foundation targets universities and research institutions involved in the development of specialized equipment, training, and research projects in disaster protection.
