Stiftung Udo und Johanna Kunz
About the funder
The Udo and Johanna Kunz Foundation is a legally recognized charitable foundation under civil law, based in Lörrach-Hauingen. It was established in 1999 by Udo and Johanna Kunz to promote intergenerational living and neighborly coexistence. The residential complex Siegmeer 1 comprises three barrier-free accessible apartment buildings with a total of 41 units, which are professionally rented out by the Municipal Housing Company Lörrach mbH. The foundation finances an integrated contact office staffed part-time by a social manager and organizes a variety of community and cultural activities (lunch table, Sunday café, health courses) to create living spaces for young and old in the neighborhood.

Mission & Vision
For Each Other – Together: The Udo and Johanna Kunz Foundation is committed to promoting neighborhood cohesion across generations by creating living spaces for young and old, where residents can live independently and safely in community. Our goal is to provide meeting places where mutual support and exchange are a natural part of everyday life.
Target groups
The foundation's offerings are primarily aimed at older adults as well as young and old who wish to live barrier-free and independently. In particular, residents of the Siegmeer 1 housing complex and interested parties from the neighborhood benefit from the social services, community activities, and intergenerational meeting formats, which can be used voluntarily and free of charge.
