About the funder

The Stiftung Universitätsmedizin Aachen is a legally recognized foundation under civil law based in Aachen. It exclusively and directly pursues charitable purposes to promote research, teaching, and patient care at the RWTH Aachen University Hospital. Since its founding in 2015, it has raised over 1 million euros in donations and supported more than 30 projects in the fields of medical research, student education, and patient-centered care. Funding is provided for innovative research projects and medical technology initiatives, as well as educational programs for prospective healthcare professionals and therapeutic services for patients of all ages. The foundation is managed on a voluntary basis by the board, advisory board, and council, ensuring that all donations directly benefit the supported projects.

Mission & Vision

Promoting health together – beyond basic medical needs.
