About the funder

The Stiftung VCP Rheinland-Pfalz/Saar is a civil law foundation based in Lambsheim. It is the legal entity of the Association of Christian Scouts and Guides (VCP) in the state of Rhineland-Palatinate/Saar and the employer of educators and administrative staff at the state office. Its responsibilities include the legal, financial, and economic safeguarding of the association's work as well as the operation of the Nibelungenturm recreational site in Worms. The foundation is a recognized provider of independent youth welfare services in accordance with § 75 para. 3 SGB VIII.

Mission & Vision

Promotion of youth work of the Association of Christian Scouts and Guides of the state of Rhineland-Palatinate/Saar as well as their support and the counseling of local groups. Children and young people want to shape their world and their future — the foundation supports them through scouting education, community, and the transmission of values.

Target groups

Children, adolescents, and young adults in the Rhineland-Palatinate and Saarland regions who are involved or wish to become involved in the Protestant scouting movement (VCP). Local scout groups (troops) and their members are supported regardless of religion, origin, or gender, provided they share the core values of the VCP.
