Stiftung "Wir in Olsberg"

The "Wir in Olsberg" Foundation is a non-profit community foundation established in 2009 by resolution of the city of Olsberg. It manages the foundation's assets formed from bequests and donations and uses the proceeds as well as contributions entirely to promote the common good in the city of Olsberg. Its projects include, among others, the recognition of young volunteers ("Olsberg's Best"), open bookcases, community breakfasts, and support services for people in need. The foundation works in partnership with local clubs, institutions, and initiatives and involves voluntary engagement in the planning and implementation of its activities.

The "Wir in Olsberg" Foundation aims to strengthen the community in Olsberg, promote civic engagement, and support social, cultural, and educational projects in an uncomplicated manner. It sees itself as a platform that enables citizens, associations, initiatives, and institutions to implement their own ideas and provide sustainable impulses for the common good.

Projects are funded that fulfill a public benefit purpose in accordance with the foundation's statutes and are located in the city of Olsberg. Eligible to apply are all citizens of Olsberg, non-profit associations, institutions, companies, initiatives, and groups. The foundation places importance on exemplary character, voluntariness and voluntary work, self-help, as well as impulses for social cohesion in Olsberg.
