Mission & Vision

The Stiftung Wissen+Kompetenzen is committed to the mission of optimally preparing students for the increasing demands of the digitally connected working world. Through seminars on personal development and soft skills training, it lays the foundation for successful graduation, career entry, and entrepreneurship. In the long term, a vibrant network of students, alumni, companies, and sponsors is to be established, enabling lifelong exchange of experiences.

Target groups

The foundation's funding programs are aimed primarily at students (scholarship holders) at the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology and neighboring universities. Support is provided to talented young professionals who wish to develop, in addition to technical knowledge, methodological skills (e.g., design thinking, agile project management), social skills (teamwork, conflict resolution), and personal competencies (stress management, self-reflection). Through seminars, mentoring, and company contacts, the scholarship holders should be able to engage early on in exchanges with the business sector.
