About the funder

In 1987, Prof. Dr. h. c. mult. Reinhold Würth and Carmen Würth founded the Würth Foundation as a legal foundation under civil law, headquartered in Künzelsau. It pursues charitable and benevolent purposes and primarily supports projects in the fields of art & culture, research & science, education & upbringing, as well as the integration of refugees and migrants. The funding is particularly focused on the Hohenlohe region, the home base of the Würth Group. The projects receive personnel and financial support from the Würth Group, especially Adolf Würth GmbH & Co. KG.

Mission & Vision

The Würth Foundation is committed to preserving the cultural heritage of the Hohenlohe region and continuously promoting artistic and scientific activities. Based on the corporate philosophy and the success of the Adolf Würth Screw Wholesale Company founded in 1945, it aims to strengthen regional cultural and educational projects, deepen entrepreneurial competence, and support the integration of disadvantaged groups.

Target groups

The funding programs of the Würth Foundation are aimed at artists and cultural workers in the Hohenlohe region, scientists and research institutions, schools, teachers and educational institutions (e.g., Competence Center for Economic Education, Anne-Sophie Free School), projects for the integration of refugees and people with disabilities, as well as emerging authors (e.g., Würth Literature Prize).
