Stiftung zur Förderung der Jugend in Baden-Württemberg
About the funder
The Youth Foundation Baden-Württemberg was established in 1982 and annually supports around 100 projects by young people in the state. It advises, funds, and documents initiatives that focus on self-initiative, voluntary commitment, and the assumption of responsibility. The foundation develops its own program lines such as the Qualipass or "Mitmachen Ehrensache," addresses societal issues, and collaborates with partners in youth education. Through the Youth and School Service Center, it implements offerings at over 1,900 schools, promotes democracy education, media literacy, environmental and climate protection, as well as engagement in rural areas.

Mission & Vision
We inspire curiosity, support projects of young people, and develop innovative youth education programs. Our mission is to identify pioneering approaches in the field of youth education, test them locally, and accompany and support the ideas and initiatives of young people.
Target groups
The funding programs of the Youth Foundation Baden-Württemberg are aimed at young people and youth initiatives from Baden-Württemberg. Support is provided to independent, non-profit organizations such as associations, non-profit limited liability companies (gGmbHs), or foundations, in whose projects young people are actively involved in planning and implementation. The foundation supports projects with a local or regional focus in the thematic areas of democracy, media, living environment, and sustainability.
