Private foundation

About the funder

The Foundation for the Support of Students of the Technical University of Applied Sciences Wildau was established on July 3, 1999, on the initiative of the founding rector Prof. Dr.-Ing. Wilfried Arlt, together with the Dahme-Spreewald Savings Bank (today Mittelbrandenburgische Sparkasse in Potsdam) and the Association of Friends and Supporters of TFH Wildau e. V. Its purpose is to provide financial support to students of TH Wildau – particularly foreign students and, in special cases, German students – who demonstrate above-average academic performance and proven financial need. The foundation capital originates from donations by the MBS, individual university lecturers, regional companies, and private individuals. The selection of scholarship recipients is carried out by the board in coordination with the advisory board for periods of two semesters each.
