Straubing

The city of Straubing is a public law municipal corporation and, as a regional municipality, carries out comprehensive responsibilities in public services, infrastructure, and urban development. From its town hall at Theresienplatz 2, it organizes municipal services for citizens, businesses, and tourism, develops land-use plans, supports cultural and sports clubs, and initiates projects in the areas of environment, mobility, and education. Straubing sees itself as a livable and lovable city in Eastern Bavaria with approximately 48,000 inhabitants.

Our funding programs are aimed at all stakeholders based in Straubing: associations, initiatives, educational institutions, businesses, and private individuals who wish to contribute to the social, cultural, economic, or ecological development of the city with their projects. Priority is given to initiatives related to neighborhood development, environmental and climate protection, integration, youth work, as well as cultural and sports promotion.
