About the funder

The SWAB Foundation of the German Economy for Work and Employment GmbH is a for-profit foundation company, established in 2008 following the financial crisis. With over 500 member companies from all industries, SWAB acts as a reliable partner in international innovation scouting and skilled labor recruitment. It connects decision-makers from the established economy ("Old Economy") with startups and entrepreneurs ("New Economy"), supports investments in more than 100 startups, and also acts as an investor itself. Additionally, it operates the Professional & Leadership Center, which creates a flexible, cross-industry transfer market for skilled and executive personnel with a minimum income of €120,000.
