Mission & Vision
The TFZ promotes sustainable energy and raw material supply through applied research and innovation support. It creates the framework for environmentally compatible cultivation methods, renewable energy technologies, and efficient biomass utilization through technology and knowledge transfer. In doing so, the TFZ supports the transformation to a climate-friendly, resource-conserving economy and thereby promotes the long-term well-being of people and nature.
Target groups
The services of the TFZ are aimed at research actors and universities for national and international project collaborations, at agricultural and forestry enterprises for practice-oriented research on the cultivation and provision of energy and raw material crops, at municipalities and public authorities for the approval and consultation of funding measures for biomass projects, at industry and crafts for technology and knowledge transfer related to wood fuels, biofuels, and biogenic materials, as well as at politics and administration for expert assessments and committee work in the development of energy and climate protection strategies.
