Mission & Vision
The Sonnenseite Foundation aims to lead people "for a moment, a day, or a lifetime to the sunny side." It is committed to conveying joy, perspectives, courage, and educational opportunities and to implementing projects with minimal administrative costs in close coordination with donors. Its goal is to achieve sustainable improvements for disadvantaged groups through its own contributions and the support of funding partners.
Target groups
The funding programs are aimed at people in need worldwide: children and youth from slums and impoverished regions, disadvantaged students and trainees in Germany, refugees and returning families, victims of war, persecution, or natural disasters, as well as elderly, disabled, or socially marginalized individuals. The foundation supports individuals and organizations that lack their own resources or are dependent on assistance due to structural disadvantages.
