About the funder

The Thuringian Ministry of Infrastructure and Agriculture (TMIL) is a supreme state authority of the Free State of Thuringia, headquartered in Erfurt. It is responsible for the planning, expansion, and promotion of infrastructure in the areas of construction, transport, and e-government, as well as agricultural policy and rural development. Its core tasks include the development of laws and regulations, the management of funding programs for urban development, energy-efficient renovation, road construction, and agricultural projects, as well as the advice and support of municipalities, businesses, farmers, and forest owners. Through its measures, the ministry contributes to the sustainable, digital, and future-oriented development of the Free State of Thuringia.

Mission & Vision

Our mission is to create a safe, connected, and environmentally sustainable infrastructure in Thuringia, as well as to sustainably strengthen agriculture and rural areas. We promote digital administrative services, expand transportation and public buildings, and support innovative agricultural projects to unite economic growth, quality of life, and ecological responsibility.

Target groups

The funding programs of the TMIL are aimed at municipalities and municipal associations for construction and traffic projects, companies and investors in civil engineering and structural engineering, farmers as well as agricultural enterprises and cooperatives, forest owners and forestry enterprises, institutions and initiatives in the field of e-government and digitalization, as well as citizens, press, and media partners who require information and support services from the authority.
