Toni Kroos-Stiftung
About the funder
The Toni Kroos Foundation is a private, legally capable foundation under civil law, founded in 2015 by football world champion Toni Kroos. It is dedicated to supporting seriously and chronically ill children and their families. The foundation works in partnership with children’s and youth hospices as well as pediatric clinics in North Rhine-Westphalia, Berlin, and Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania, promoting both infrastructural measures (e.g., therapy rooms, medical equipment, renovations, and new constructions) and family assistance (therapies, aids, home adaptations). All ongoing costs are privately borne by the founder, ensuring that 100% of all incoming donations flow directly into aid projects. Decisions are made quickly and without bureaucracy.

Mission & Vision
The Toni Kroos Foundation has made it its mission to provide straightforward and immediate assistance to seriously ill children and their families. We guarantee short decision-making and coordination processes, cover financial resources for therapies, aids, and infrastructural projects, and create rays of hope in difficult life situations. Our founder personally stands for transparency and effectiveness of the support, ensuring that every euro reaches where it is needed.
Target groups
Our funding is primarily aimed at families with severely or chronically ill children who require financial support for therapies, assistive devices, home modifications, or respite care due to the high burden. In addition, the foundation supports partner institutions such as children’s and youth hospices as well as pediatric clinics in Cologne, Düsseldorf, Berlin, Greifswald, Münster, and Viersen to improve the care and quality of life for affected children and their families.
