About the funder

The Town & Country Foundation is a non-profit foundation under civil law, founded in 2009 by Gabriele and Jürgen Dawo. Originally established to support homeowners who found themselves in distress through no fault of their own, it has continuously expanded its range of activities. Today, the foundation supports projects nationwide in the areas of child and youth welfare, environmental education for children, homeowner assistance, as well as art and culture. In doing so, it works closely with Town & Country license partners, regional ambassadors, and non-profit organizations to strengthen sustainable commitment and social participation.

Mission & Vision

The Town & Country Foundation is committed to supporting people in difficult life situations and opening up new perspectives for them. We promote civic engagement and support projects that strengthen children and young people in their development, raise environmental awareness, and enable cultural as well as social participation. Our goal is a solidarity-based community in which no one is excluded due to social, financial, or health-related barriers.

Target groups

The funding programs of the Town & Country Foundation are primarily aimed at non-profit organizations, associations, and initiatives in Germany that support disadvantaged, ill, or disabled children and adolescents. Projects offering environmental education and nature experiences for young people, as well as cultural events and art projects that promote intercultural dialogue, are also supported. Additionally, builders in emergency situations receive practical and financial assistance.
