About the funder
The VNG Foundation was established in 2009 by VNG AG as a fiduciary foundation within the Donors' Association for the Promotion of Sciences and Humanities in Germany. It supports civil society projects and initiatives in East Germany in the four focus areas of civil society & common good, democracy & cohesion, arts & culture, as well as grassroots sports & health. As a regional foundation based in Leipzig, it assists clubs, associations, and organizations through financial grants, engagement awards, and networking activities.

Mission & Vision
The VNG Foundation is committed to strengthening charitable engagement in Eastern Germany. Target groups

Applications may be submitted for individual projects and networks that contribute to the sustainable development of their region.
