Mission & Vision
We aim to advance those employees in Vienna who wish to develop professionally. Therefore, we are the first point of contact when it comes to career progression. We identify challenges in the Vienna labor market at an early stage, analyze them, and develop innovative, flexible solutions. In close cooperation with the City of Vienna, the AMS, and social partners, we tailor our support services precisely to the needs of Vienna’s workforce.
Target groups
waff targets various groups in Vienna: employed Viennese workers who wish to finance their education and training and expand their qualifications; unemployed Viennese individuals who are supported in close coordination with AMS Vienna to re-enter the workforce; young Viennese people who navigate the transition from school to work within the framework of the Vienna Training Guarantee; Viennese companies that receive support both in finding qualified personnel and in the education and training of their employees; as well as companies undergoing staff reductions that require socially responsible forms of workforce downsizing.
