Mission & Vision
The waff is an important instrument of the City of Vienna to support employees in their professional advancement. Our goal is to assist Viennese employees in achieving stable employment and good income, and to strengthen the securing of skilled workers and innovation capacity in Vienna through targeted funding programs.
Target groups
The funding programs of waff primarily target employees and job seekers with their main residence in Vienna, as well as apprentices, career returnees, and businesses in the city. Support is provided for vocational and further training, examinations and qualification measures, apprentice preparation, skilled worker and nursing training, as well as innovation and employment projects of small and medium-sized enterprises.
