Wilhelm Oberle-Stiftung

The Wilhelm Oberle Foundation is a non-profit private foundation based in Staufen im Breisgau. The foundation is dedicated to charitable promotion and support of individuals who, due to their age, health or mental condition, social situation, or financial hardship, depend on the assistance of others. It provides financial aid to private individuals in need, supports organizations, advises donors, and cooperates in regional and international development projects (including in the Andes, Peru, Ecuador, Bolivia, and Africa). Furthermore, it offers support for the elderly, disabled, children, and youth, as well as individual assistance for necessary medical care, debt relief, or purchases such as driving licenses or vehicles.

The foundation has made it its guiding principle to provide help to people in need in Germany and worldwide at any time and without bureaucratic obstacles. Our goal is to assist as many people as possible in life-critical situations—without application deadlines and with individual assessment of funding possibilities. In doing so, we align ourselves with the foundation’s purpose of charitable support according to tax regulations and promote nonprofit elderly care, assistance for the disabled, child and youth welfare, as well as development cooperation.

The funding activities are aimed at individuals who require support due to their age, physical or mental disabilities, illness, financial hardship, or social disadvantage. This includes elderly people, persons with disabilities, refugees, children and adolescents, the sick, indebted individuals, as well as specific ethnic groups. Additionally, the foundation supports domestic and international organizations through project and individual case assistance that alleviates individual emergencies in an unbureaucratic and flexible manner.
