About the funder
The Wim Wenders Foundation is a non-profit legal foundation under civil law based in Düsseldorf with an office in Berlin. It safeguards, preserves, and disseminates the complete artistic oeuvre of the director Wim Wenders and promotes artistic, scientific, and educational exchange with cultural, research, and educational institutions. Its responsibilities include the digital restoration and worldwide accessibility of films, the awarding of the Wim Wenders Scholarship in cooperation with the Film- und Medienstiftung NRW, as well as the development of film education projects for schools and universities.

Mission & Vision
The Wim Wenders Foundation is committed to the preservation, restoration, and dissemination of European film heritage. Target groups
