Mission & Vision
The Regional Agencies aim to increase the transparency and efficiency of ESF funding in NRW. They see themselves as competent local partners who identify regional needs, provide individual advice to those interested in funding, and promote cooperation between state authorities and local actors. In doing so, they contribute to the successful implementation of state policy labor market and social programs.
Target groups
The main target groups of the ESF Regional Agencies are municipalities, regions, and local administrative units; project sponsors and applicants (e.g., associations, municipalities, private and public institutions); companies of all sizes with a need for ESF-funded measures; educational institutions, counseling centers, and social service providers; as well as network partners such as job centers, chambers, and trade unions that are active in labor market policy within the region.
