100,000 Euro Funding Pool – Crowdfunding Grant (Move.Integrate.Support.)

Starting January 1, 2026, the Lower Saxony Lotto Sports Foundation will provide a funding pool of 100,000 euros to effectively support crowdfunding initiatives in Lower Saxony. Non-profit associations, educational institutions, foundations, and initiatives based in Lower Saxony can submit projects in the areas of sports and the integration of people with a migration background. For every contribution raised from 10 euros, the foundation grants a matching subsidy of 20 euros, once per supporting person, up to a maximum amount of 1,000 euros per project and a maximum of 20% of the targeted funding goal. In this way, there is an opportunity to generate additional financial resources from even small community contributions and to visibly enhance one’s own commitment.

Applications can be submitted online at any time, as long as the funding pool is not exhausted. A prerequisite for approval is that the project has not yet started and that the applicant is based in Lower Saxony. The foundation works closely with experienced partners in the crowdfunding sector for the administration, who provide advisory support in the conception, implementation, and public relations of the campaigns. With funding of up to 1,000 euros per project, the measure specifically supports innovative, inclusive, and sports-related projects and strengthens the participation of local communities.
