Awesome! New Pump Track in Lichtenberg

The Haspa Hamburg Foundation supports the Jo. and I. Lenz Foundation with the project abgefahren! in the realization of a new pump track at Lichtenberger See in Berlin. The aim of the funding is to sustainably strengthen the recreational offerings for children, adolescents, and families on site and to increase the attractiveness of the Lichtenberg district. As a sponsorship measure, the foundation promotes the construction of the mountain bike track, which is designed for both bicycle enthusiasts as well as skateboard and inline skate fans. This inclusive offering not only awakens sporting ambition but also makes an important contribution to social cohesion: the pump track serves as a meeting point for like-minded people and creates space for communal activities in a vibrant, urban environment.

Non-profit organizations and public institutions dedicated to the expansion of leisure and youth centers are supported. The program is particularly aimed at young people and families who wish to actively and creatively shape their leisure time.
