Description
Medical Radio Emergency Service in the State of Salzburg offers a continuously available subsidy opportunity for public institutions and non-profit organizations involved in the comprehensive expansion and maintenance of a reliable radio network in the state of Salzburg. The aim of this funding is to improve the accessibility of on-call physicians through financial support for maintenance and personnel costs. The sponsorship is the responsibility of the ARGE Radio Emergency Service – consisting of the Salzburg Medical Association, the Austrian Red Cross, and the State of Salzburg. The funds are allocated according to the "General Guidelines for the Granting of Funding by the State of Salzburg" and serve to maintain and continuously optimize a comprehensive medical emergency service system. Payments are made directly by the State of Salzburg, with the funding amounts published annually in the transparency portal.
Funding is provided to on-call physicians as well as the sponsoring organizations of the ARGE Radio Emergency Service, which are responsible for the installation, maintenance, and operation of the network. A demonstrably comprehensive project in line with the funding objective and compliance with all state-specific guidelines are prerequisites. The following documents must be submitted with the application: proof of legal status (bylaws, statutes), budget plan including estimate and financial statement, detailed financing plan with total costs and in-kind contributions, written declarations for inspection and proof of use, as well as a data protection declaration. Applications can be submitted at any time without a deadline, with approval subject to the availability of funds. This funding makes a significant contribution to strengthening the health infrastructure in Salzburg and supports rapid medical care outside regular practice hours.
