Description
The agri-environmental, climate, and animal welfare measures (AUKM) in Bavaria support agricultural and forestry enterprises that focus on sustainable, nature- and animal-friendly management. Companies from Bavaria can continuously apply for a grant by submitting their application form, the management plan, and a parcel verification to the Offices for Food, Agriculture, and Forestry (ÄELF). A prerequisite for funding is agricultural operation in Bavaria as well as compliance with the AUKM guidelines, including proof of land size and management method. Projects are evaluated based on their contribution to species protection, their climate protection impact, and their integration with other environmental measures.
Expenditures eligible for funding include nature- and animal-friendly management, biotope and hedge maintenance, the cultivation of organic field crops, as well as the installation of grazing fences and watering facilities.
