Description

The action guideline “Private Room Promotion Burgenland 2024-2030” supports private individuals and businesses in Burgenland with investments in existing or new guest rooms and holiday apartments (up to a maximum of ten beds). Through a non-repayable grant, the program promotes both new construction and comprehensive modernization and furnishing of private accommodations. The goal is to enhance the competitiveness of the tourism and leisure industry in the region, establish contemporary standards, and anchor sustainable concepts. This aims not only to attract established providers but also new market participants to the accommodation sector.

Eligible expenses include the construction and modernization of guest rooms as well as interior fittings and furnishings. A prerequisite for funding is a location in Burgenland, a capacity of no more than ten beds per accommodation, and compliance with the EU de minimis aid limits. Small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) as well as private providers equally benefit from the ongoing application possibility during the funding period 2024 to 2030. Through this measure, private room and holiday apartment providers have the opportunity to sustainably optimize their offerings and attract new guest groups. Interested parties can submit a funding application at any time and thus actively contribute to the further development of Burgenland tourism.
