Action Day for the Economy 2026

The Porz Citizens' Foundation invites you to the June 12, 2026 Action Day for the economy throughout Porz. In this participation initiative, companies from North Rhine-Westphalia provide employees free of charge for one day to work on professional or craft projects in social institutions. In advance, a project exchange ensures precise matching: project ideas are presented, engagement agreements are concluded, and capacities of companies and social organizations are coordinated. Eligible for funding are all companies based in Porz, non-profit organizations, and public institutions that wish to actively promote civic engagement, social issues, and democracy.

With the Action Day, the foundation aims to strengthen social cohesion and initiate long-term partnerships between the economy and social organizations. Through the donation of time, both parties gain valuable insights into the challenges and resources of the community. A binding engagement agreement forms the basis for participation – this document must be submitted along with a convincing project idea and proof of employee availability. Companies and social institutions, whose collaboration has already realized well over 100 projects in previous years, thereby expand their network and lay the foundation for sustainable civic engagement in Porz.
