Priority is given to projects that provide an additional impetus to strengthen the location and the economy in Carinthia.

Description
The "General Economic Funding" in Carinthia aims to increase the location's attractiveness, improve the region's image, and serve as a catalyst for research & innovation, digitalization, and visibility. Funding is provided to natural and legal persons, start-ups, as well as active members of the Carinthian Chamber of Commerce who demonstrate an economic focus and added value for the Carinthian business location. The initiative supports cross-sectoral projects in the fields of corporate financing, digitalization, research & innovation, as well as consulting & corporate financing. Designed as a grant, the funding offers unlimited, ongoing access from 01.01.2025 and significantly contributes to strengthening Carinthia as a future-oriented economic area.
A written funding application is required for submission, which must include the name of the organization, a detailed project description, a comprehensive cost breakdown, and the location of the project implementation. Active membership in the Carinthian Chamber of Commerce is a mandatory prerequisite for approval. Selection is made at the discretion of the Office of the Carinthian State Government – Department 7 Economy, Tourism and Mobility.
