Description
The General Economic Development of the State of Upper Austria offers a permanent, non-repayable grant to sustainably strengthen the regional economic location. With a focus on business financing, regional development, consulting, as well as agriculture and rural development, the program opens up diverse opportunities to enhance the competitiveness of Upper Austrian companies and organizations. Projects that promote innovative initiatives, structural improvements, or cooperation between companies qualify for financial support. Applications can be submitted informally at any time, allowing applicants to respond flexibly to market demands and development needs.
Eligible for funding are companies, working groups, business associations, as well as non-profit organizations based in Upper Austria that submit projects aimed at strengthening the economic location. A prerequisite is the full acceptance of the general funding guidelines of the State of Upper Austria and proof that the project significantly contributes to regional value creation. Eligible costs include both tangible and intangible expenses. For application submission, a funding declaration and a project description are required, supplemented by invoices and payment receipts. After positive review by the Department of Economy and Research, the funding is paid out as a one-time non-repayable aid.
