Description

The Allianz Foundation Fellows Programme is aimed at individuals and pioneers from civil society, culture, arts, and science within the EU who pursue innovative approaches to address social inequalities, ecological crises, and cultural challenges. The ten-month fellowship provides both non-material and financial support in the form of a grant to realize artistic works, prototypes, new narratives, platforms, and event formats. Central themes include social cohesion and democracy, environmental and nature conservation, energy efficiency and climate protection, as well as culture and media. The selected fellows benefit from a strong European network that fosters creative synergies with other initiatives of the Allianz Foundation and promotes the exchange of transdisciplinary experts.

With the aim of implementing pioneering project ideas in the fields of civil society, environment, and culture, the program creates space for unconventional solutions. The funding aims to reduce injustices, strengthen open societies, and create a livable environment for all. Interested parties can apply via regularly announced calls on the website; selection is made by a panel based on expert recommendations. Through the combination of financial flexibility, non-material support, and a vibrant network, the fellows are empowered to generate long-term impactful impulses and work together with like-minded individuals towards a sustainable future.
