Description

AMIF 21-27: Training of Employees and Relevant Stakeholders specifically promotes training and further education projects in Vienna for employees of the asylum administration as well as interpreters actively involved in this field. This measure focuses on accelerating the establishment of legal certainty and ensuring a high-quality, humane procedural handling in accordance with national and EU regulations. Innovative training concepts aimed at current legal frameworks, procedural workflows, and human rights standards are supported. Participants benefit not only from professional expertise but also from practice-oriented learning formats that address the increasing demands in the asylum sector.

Funding is provided as a lump-sum grant with a funding rate of up to 75 percent of eligible total costs, no later than December 31, 2029. Applicants from the public sector, non-profit organizations, or the private sector may submit project volumes starting from 100,000 euros. Co-financing shares must be provided in the form of own funds or additional funding contributions. Recognized expense categories include, among others, personnel, material, and travel costs; value-added tax, bonus payments, and reserves are not eligible for funding. Application documents such as the project description, financing plan, time and performance records, certificates of clearance, as well as the lease agreement for utilized premises form the basis for formal submission. Ongoing deadlines until the end of 2029 offer maximum flexibility; timely and complete application submission guarantees participation in the selection process, which is based on criteria of quality, relevance, and funding eligibility.
