Recognition of Comparable Certificates/Diplomas (Certification) – Homeopathy Certificate Foundation

The Homeopathy Certificate Foundation offers a nationwide, continuously available opportunity for certification of therapists already qualified elsewhere. Through an equivalence assessment of existing certificates or diplomas – for example, from alternative practitioners or physicians – the SQhT seal and the Homeopathy Certificate are awarded. The goal is to increase the transparency and quality of homeopathic treatment methods as well as to sustainably strengthen the recognition of Classical Homeopathy in healthcare, labor, and social sectors. Participants from all disciplines thus receive proof of a quality-assured education and benefit from belonging to a recognized quality initiative.

For the application, a license to practice medicine or alternative practitioner permit, a copy of the existing certificate or diploma, as well as proof of continuing education (maximum 160 units of 45 minutes each) and, if applicable, personal case documentation must be submitted. Additionally, for non-recognized institutions, the quality criteria of the original certification body and the date of practice establishment are required. The evaluation is based on the equivalence of training, continuing education, and practice standards, the completeness of the documents, and the quality of the case documentation. In case of uncertainties, collegial discussions may take place. A completed application form for recognition of comparable certificates is available for download at any time.
