Description

Since early 2021, this funding has supported the implementation and further development of the primary care projects 4.A.1 and 4.A.2 in Vienna within the framework of the Austrian Recovery and Resilience Plan (ARP). With a funding volume of €431,000, provided by the European Union – NextGeneration EU, cross-institutional coordination structures are being established. The commissioned team undertakes tasks such as coordinating key partners, advising on implementation issues, and supporting the EU project management and communication processes. The goal is to strengthen and enhance the attractiveness of health-related primary care in order to make regional healthcare provision resilient in the long term and to optimally link interfaces with national framework strategies.

The target group consists of public institutions that, under a concluded contract, act as project partners throughout the entire project duration of 72 months and actively collaborate with the Federal Ministry, state departments, and international stakeholders. The funding measure is aimed at institutions from the fields of health as well as labor & social affairs, which seek to leverage synergies and design processes efficiently through structured coordination. Applications can be submitted until December 31, 2026, with project start possible as early as January 1, 2021. Through targeted networking, the measure significantly contributes to the development of model primary care networks and makes a sustainable contribution to optimizing the regional healthcare landscape.
