Description
The funding initiative “Training and Further Education (ABM)” supports commercial temporary employment agencies throughout Austria in qualifying their temporary workers. Funding is provided for training and further education in accordance with § 3 of the SWF Service Regulations, such as metalworking, electrical, welding, or foreman training, as well as language courses and other cross-industry measures. Actual course, examination, and material costs, as well as various fees, are covered up to 125% of comparable reference prices, but no more than €7,000 per temporary worker per calendar year. The project duration is 12 months, with applications to be submitted via the SWF online portal no later than six months after the completion of the measure. This funding aims to strengthen deployability, secure continuous employment, and impart contemporary qualifications.
Eligible for funding are companies registered as commercial temporary employment agencies within the meaning of the AÜG, who have paid their SWF contributions punctually and have no economic ties with the selected educational institutions. A prerequisite is an uninterrupted employment relationship of the temporary worker during the measure and the conclusion of an SWF framework agreement by the training institution. Purely introductory, orientation, or company-specific onboarding measures are not eligible for funding. Applicants must submit all relevant documents after the completion of the measure, including offers from the training providers, invoices, participation certificates, and De-minimis declarations. If additional evidence is required, for example for e-learning or exceeding funding limits, these can be optionally supplemented. The total funding volume amounts to €1.15 million until the end of 2026.
