Description

The SWF supports companies throughout Austria in financing training and further education for their temporary agency workers with a subsidy of up to 125% of the usual reference costs. Eligible costs include course, examination, and material expenses as well as various fees, possibly including wage/salary costs, up to a maximum funding amount of €7,000 per temporary agency worker within a funding year. The measures, such as metalworking, electrical, welding, or foreman training as well as language courses, must be completed within twelve months. The program aims to enhance the deployability of temporary agency workers, ensure continuous employment, and provide the necessary qualifications.

Temporary agency workers who are employed in an active, non-terminated employment or service relationship with a commercial temporary staffing company throughout the entire training and further education period and for whom the contributions to the Social and Training Fund have been paid on time by their company are eligible for funding. The funding application must be submitted in the SWF online portal before the start of the measure; all supporting documents (offer from the educational institution, service contract, participation confirmation or certificate, etc.) must be submitted no later than six months after completion. E-learning is only funded in exceptional cases. Double funding of the same costs through other funding bodies is excluded. The nationwide deadline applies until December 31, 2026. The measure must be implemented by an educational institution that has concluded an SWF framework agreement and thus meets the requirements for tailored qualification in accordance with the Temporary Employment Act.
