Description

The training support provided by the Konrad Adenauer Foundation e.V. is aimed at committed trainees throughout Germany whose training occupation is listed in the directory of recognized training occupations of the BIBB or in the lexicon of training occupations. Over a period of up to 36 months, the scholarship recipients receive financial support amounting to €300 per month. At the same time, the program offers comprehensive ideological support: In seminars on current social and political topics such as artificial intelligence, sustainable business practices, or international politics, the beneficiaries can expand their professional and personal skills. Additionally, regional and thematic networks as well as mentoring opportunities enable exchanges with experienced alumni and guests from politics, business, and culture.

Funding is provided to trainees with above-average academic and operational performance, regular voluntary engagement, and demonstrated interest in political content. A prerequisite is a training duration of at least until October 2027 as well as identification with Christian-democratic values. The next application deadline is July 15, 2026, at 24:00. A complete application includes, among other things, the completed online application form, CV, letter of motivation, certificates, training contract or proof of training, a brief assessment, and proof of German language skills (at least B2). Selection is based on performance records, personality, motivation, value orientation, and commitment. The training support not only creates financial leeway but also opens up long-term prospects for personal and professional development.
