Description
The Dr. Hildegard Dinter-Lutz Research Prize Foundation for Scientific Research annually awards outstanding contributions in the field of brain tumor research and therapy with a prize of €5,000. In addition to this central focus, projects in the disciplines of immunobiology of malignant tumors, virology, molecular and cell biology, medicinal plant research, medical-technical research, and energy sciences are also supported. Eligible for funding are private individuals and educational institutions throughout Germany, with the sole evaluation criterion being the scientific excellence of the submitted research work. The decision on the awardees is made by the Foundation Board based on a recommendation from the Society for Pediatric Oncology and Hematology (GPOH).
The call for applications is made exclusively through official programs of the Foundation; applications submitted outside these deadlines cannot be considered. Interested scientists and researchers are encouraged to submit their documents punctually in accordance with the requirements of the respective call. In addition to the substantive quality of the submissions, the recommendation of the GPOH is one of the binding funding prerequisites. Information on deadlines and application details is provided in the official call documents, which are available for download in the corresponding event announcements of the German Foundation Center.
