Description

The AVGS-funded coaching sessions offered by the SWT Academy in North Rhine-Westphalia provide versatile, free individual counseling for labor market-disadvantaged target groups. With the help of an activation voucher (AVGS) from the Jobcenter, 100% of the costs for job coaching, social coaching, or start-up consulting are covered. Private individuals as well as prospective founders benefit from tailored coaching units aimed at individual strength and weakness analyses, application strategies, or business plan development. The focus is on overcoming personal and structural barriers: this includes optimizing application documents, accessing the hidden job market, or the professional and financial preparation of a start-up idea. The SWT Academy provides multi-professional expert teams at ten locations – including Düsseldorf, Cologne, and Oberhausen – and also offers location-independent online coaching via Microsoft Teams or Zoom. Applications can be submitted continuously; only the AVGS voucher must be presented to the Jobcenter.

In particular, unemployed individuals, long-term unemployed, refugees, migrants, women, and single parents receive support in professional reorientation, qualification, and social stabilization. The program aims at sustainable labor market integration and securing livelihoods. Participants not only receive practical methods for self-marketing but also assistance with networking, conflict management, or financial issues within large benefit communities. For those interested in founding a business, the coaching includes business plan development, funding advice, and professional assessments – all tailored to their individual plans. With this holistic offering, the SWT Academy strengthens self-initiative and enables equitable participation in the primary labor market.
