Basic Funding of the State Association of Parent Associations

The annual state contribution ensures reliable basic funding for the State Association of Parent Associations in Carinthia and primarily covers personnel expenses. The aim of this funding is to consolidate, intensify, and sustainably expand parental interests from preschool to school graduation at the state level. Eligible for funding are interest groups or other associations active in the fields of education and training. Through continuous support, a central contact point is established where parent representation, educational institutions, media, and politics are closely networked to effectively advocate common concerns.

Applications can be submitted at any time and require a written funding commitment in advance. Eligible expenses are limited to personnel costs; a declaration of dedication and appropriate documentation must be submitted with the application. The decision is made within the framework of the general guidelines for funding from state resources and is overseen by the Office of the Carinthian State Government, Department 6 – Education and Sports.
