Description

In the state of Salzburg, non-profit organizations, interest groups, as well as associations, project sponsors, initiatives, groups, and networks are supported with basic grants to enable women-specific and equality-specific work at a professional level. Funding is provided for personnel and structural costs that ensure the sustainable provision of feminist counseling, empowerment measures, as well as offerings for social cohesion and democratic engagement. Requirements include a regional scope of impact within Salzburg, in-depth knowledge of female life and socialization conditions, a binding commitment to the gender mainstreaming principle, cooperation with existing women's facilities, and compliance with the Salzburg Equal Treatment Act.

The grants are awarded as an annual contribution over a project duration of twelve months and can be applied for continuously. Funding applications for the following year must be submitted electronically via the eGovernment portal by June 30; a completed application form and proof of use are required. The addressed thematic areas include women's promotion, counseling, engagement for social cohesion and democracy, work & social affairs, as well as counseling & business financing.
