Bavarian Collaborative Research Program (BayVFP) – Digitalization strengthens technology-oriented collaborative research projects in the field of digitalization in Bavaria. The aim is to promote research and development through targeted grants that support cooperation between companies, research institutions, and other partners. With a funding focus on innovation and digital transformation, this funding line particularly offers small and medium-sized enterprises as well as scientific institutions the opportunity to jointly develop and practically implement pioneering technologies. The announcement of the current call for proposals was made on 14.11.2025; the specific submission deadlines are published with each respective call.

Applicants benefit from a transparent structure and clearly defined requirements: at least three partners from industry and academia must be involved in the cooperation project, and a registered office or place of business in Bavaria is required. These criteria ensure a close integration of theory and practice as well as a regional connection to the innovation results.
