Description

Since 2014, the relief measures of the Carinthian Emergency Relief Organization have been supporting affected individuals in Carinthia in the restoration of assets damaged by natural disasters such as floods, mudslides, avalanches, snow pressure, landslides, rockfalls, hurricanes, earthquakes, hail, and ground subsidence. Designed as a grant, the funding is aimed at natural persons, interest groups, as well as legal entities, expressly excluding territorial authorities. An application must be submitted to the affected municipality within six months of the damage occurrence to receive a grant commitment. Payment is made only after submission of complete proof of the restoration of the original condition.

Eligible are all repair and restoration costs, evidenced by invoices and payment confirmations, as well as documented own contributions in the form of time sheets. Additionally, expert reports or processing confirmations may be submitted, especially in the case of forest damage. For the funding application, the official application form of the Carinthian Emergency Relief Organization, all invoice receipts, proof of own contributions, if applicable an official expert forestry report, as well as the grant commitment must be submitted. These legal framework conditions ensure targeted and transparent allocation of funds and provide affected applicants with sustainable financial support.
