Contributions to the Linz University Fund

The Linz University Fund enables educational and public institutions in Upper Austria to receive indefinite funding to ensure the operational functionality of the administrative office, university administration, and housing management. Financed equally from the resources of the State of Upper Austria and the City of Linz, the funds are primarily used for administrative management, operational processes, and the provision of housing for university staff. Through direct grant allocation, transparent and targeted financing is ensured, contributing to further strengthening Linz as a center for research, innovation, and scientific education and training. Applications can be submitted at any time and are based on a written request in accordance with the statutes of the Linz University Fund.

Those primarily interested in this funding are university administrations and university employees who are actively involved in management tasks or the use of service apartments. A prerequisite for the grant is the submission of a detailed budget estimate as well as a financial statement of the fund. The indefinite application procedure guarantees continuous support and promotes long-term planning of operational structures.
