Contributions to Performance Centers and Training Models

The state contribution "Contributions to Performance Centers and Training Models" supports the continuation of sports operations in Carinthia. Funding is provided for the ongoing operation of 30 Carinthian performance centers, selected training models, as well as the Carinthian Football Academy. Grants are available to non-profit organizations, interest groups, and clubs, particularly specialized associations, the Carinthian Football Association, and sports clubs in the region. The funding is granted as ongoing financial assistance to ensure continuous training and competition preparation and to enhance the attractiveness of elite sports in Carinthia. Interested associations and clubs may submit applications at any time, ensuring flexible project planning.

A prerequisite for entitlement to funding is compliance with the Carinthian Sports Act (LGBl. 99/1997 as amended) and the Carinthian Sports Guidelines for Performance Centers. The application must be accompanied by the following documents: a completed application from the respective organization (sports club, sports association, or municipality), contact details of the organizational and sports management, current squad lists of the athletes supported, proof of training times including a training report, and a current financial report. The processing is carried out as direct funding in the form of a purpose-specific grant. The responsible authority is the Office of the Carinthian State Government, Department 6 – Education and Sports, which is responsible for planning, coordination, and allocation of state funds.
