Contributions to NADA and ÖISS

The state of Carinthia continuously provides grants to support the membership fees to the National Anti-Doping Agency (NADA) and the Austrian Sports Integrity Foundation (ÖISS). This funding significantly contributes to maintaining and further developing the anti-doping and integrity system within the federal state. Public institutions as well as non-profit organizations equally benefit from this funding opportunity, which ensures that athletes and sports federations in Carinthia operate according to the highest ethical and legal standards. By participating in NADA and ÖISS, the credibility of organized sports is strengthened and the trust of all parties involved – from coaches to officials – is sustainably secured.

Sports clubs, associations, and other public and non-profit institutions that are contractually obliged to pay membership fees to NADA and ÖISS are eligible for funding. A prerequisite for a grant is proof of this obligation. Applications can be submitted at any time, thus also covering short-term fee demands. The processing is handled unbureaucratically by the responsible department of the Carinthian state government, Department 6 – Education and Sports, which simultaneously acts as the central contact point. This ensures a swift review and disbursement of funds to guarantee the smooth operation of all anti-doping and integrity measures in the region.
