Contribution from the SKH Maria Ebene Foundation towards the legal entity's share according to SpBG

The funding in Vorarlberg is directed to the Maria Ebene Foundation as the non-profit legal entity of the Maria Ebene Special Hospital and provides for full coverage of the annual operating deficit. The aim of these directly granted subsidies is the 100% assumption of the legal entity’s share of operating expenses, thereby ensuring the financial stability of the specialized healthcare facility. This measure strengthens the health and social sector by securing the non-profit operation of the hospital in the long term and focusing on patient-centered care. With a budgeted volume of 4.44 million euros, the state government provides a reliable financing basis that can be continuously applied for and has no time limitations.

Prerequisites for the funding application are a formal resolution by the state government regarding the financing of the legal entity’s shares (for the years 2015 to 2018) as well as a written application from the Maria Ebene Foundation. The funding rate is consistently 100 percent, with only the annual legal entity’s share recognized as an eligible expenditure item. Applications can be submitted at any time, allowing for flexible planning and rapid implementation of financial support. This transparent and continuously available funding structure ensures the sustainable safeguarding of specialized hospital care in Vorarlberg.
