Contribution to the State Fire Brigade Association and Fire Prevention Office

The grant is aimed at the State Fire Brigade Association and the State Fire Prevention Office in Vorarlberg, as well as local volunteer fire brigades as carriers of fire police responsibilities. The objective is the consistent implementation of the Fire Police Regulations through financial support in fire police matters, fire prevention, and equipment assurance. The contribution promotes the securing of operationally relevant technology and equipment as well as the safeguarding of the professional interests of the fire brigades in the state. Only non-profit organizations and public institutions affiliated with the State Fire Brigade Association or the State Fire Prevention Office in Vorarlberg are eligible to apply. The funds are awarded as direct funding in the form of grants and are continuously available – applications can therefore be submitted at any time.

The funding contributes to strengthening disaster protection and increasing social security in the region by enabling optimal equipment and smooth processes in preventive and defensive fire fighting. The focus is on both preventive measures for fire prevention and operational support services that ensure rapid and professional interventions in emergencies. Through ongoing allocation, the structures of the fire police system are consolidated and the cooperation between the State Fire Brigade Association, the Fire Prevention Office, and local units is made more sustainable.
